Every year manufacturers make millions of dollars from the sale of overpriced merchandise whose only distinguishing feature is that it has been trademarked with the name and emblem of an NFL team. For the price consumers pay for these items one would expect them to be lined with 14 karat gold. Fortunately, it is still possible to purchase NFL merchandise at a reasonable price if you only know where to look.
e-Bay is still one of the leaders in the market of affordable NFL merchandise; however, purchasing memorabilia through this method can be a double edged sword. While ordinary memorabilia can generally be obtained for a reasonable price true collectors items may be sold for prices which are much higher than they may be from a flat retailer due to the theory of supply and demand. Demand is going to continue driving the bidding up, and there is no cap on the price that an item can sell for on e-Bay. Amazon.com may be a much more budget friendly method of obtaining high end items, as they can be purchased second hand from sellers and the name of the game on Amazon is to have the lowest price to ensure that your product is the one that sells.

There are many options to choose from when saving for retirement. One of the more popular options available today is the 401k account. A 401k account is simply a retirement account that is funded by a participant’s employer. The funds are usually invested into mutual funds or into the shares of company stock.
A 401k account falls under the category of a defined contribution account. This means the employee will contribute a defined amount to a participant’s account. The defined contribution account is different than the defined benefit account, which includes such retirement plans as pensions. In the case of pensions, a set benefit amount would be disbursed monthly upon retirement. However, 401k accounts dole out a lump sum upon retirement.
The trend in retirement savings is gradually going more towards defined contribution accounts, as most companies are saving money offering these 401k-like plans. Although roughly half of the American population has some type of retirement savings, such as a 401k account, many do not utilize all the benefits available to them to make it worth their while. The advantages of having a 401k account are many, including having the company match contributions, being able to withdraw funds if deemed necessary, and having the headache of investing put into the hands of professionals. However, these benefits can be negated if individuals don’t begin contributing to their own 401k account soon after starting a new job, contribute too little, or choose not to participate at all.

Pregnancy tests have been around for centuries. Even the ancient Egyptians used a test in which a woman would urinate on some grain. If it grew, a woman was pregnant. If not, she was not expecting. Modern scientists have even discovered some validity to this test, but today’s pregnancy tests have evolved significantly.

The First Response Test has many qualities that attract women. The greatest of these is the short time between conception and the ability of the First Response Test to indicate a pregnancy. This test is capable of revealing a woman’s pregnancy about four days before she misses her first period.
Like most other pregnancy tests, the First Response Test measures the amount of a hormone called human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) in a woman’s urine. Higher amounts of this hormone indicate that a woman is pregnant.
